Would You Like Training?
Suicide Safer Network (SSN) offers a variety of training sessions to the Sudbury and Manitoulin areas including Livingworks sessions in Start, safeTALK, and ASIST. Once you are trained you will be able to recognize risk factors, identify people at risk, intervene to connect people to services.
Start
In just 90 minutes online, LivingWorks Start teaches skills to everyone 13 and older to recognize when someone is thinking about suicide and connect them to help and support. No formal training or prior experience in suicide prevention required.

safeTALK
safeTALK is a half-day training that prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.

ASIST
The ASIST workshop is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Over two million caregivers have participated in this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop.
